Suzanne Graves is principal of Middlesettlements, since June 2020.
Experience: She began as lead principal in July of 2020. She was a former assistant principal at Mary Blount Elementary School since 2013. Before her tenure at MBES, she served as assistant principal at both Eagleton and Carpenters. She began working for Blount County Schools in 1996 as a math teacher. She taught at Porter, Heritage Middle, William Blount Middle, and Carpenters Middle schools. She then served as a middle school math coach for a year before becoming an administrator.
Education: Graves is a graduate of William Blount High School (1990). She has her bachelor's degree in elementary education. She has her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Tennessee. In 1998, she earned an educational specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University.
Personal: Suzanne Graves is married to Carcie Graves, since 1993. She has two children , Katie and Tyler who are both graduates of Blount County Schools.
